SOLD This designer contemporary style features a two stunning Blue Spinels set in 9ct White Gold. Ethically sourced from one of the most prominent mines of Spinel in the world, located in Sri Lanka. The 3x Round Brilliant Cut G/SI Diamonds (measuring 2.4mm, 2.0mm, 1.5mm) that appear to be floating between two plates of White Gold are truly a statement in their own right. Crafted in 9ct Yellow Gold, the band of this ring is simplistic and elegant.
About Spinel and Diamond
A slightly lesser known gemstone, Spinel has gained in popularity quickly since the crown jewels have been discovered to feature a Spinel as the centre piece! Spinel has also become known as the modern birthstone of August. The gem world is quickly being captivated by the vast array of colours Spinel can be found in. Most commonly found in Red, Pink, Blue, Purple and Orange. Spinel also has a hardness of 7.5-8 on the Moh’s Scale of hardness. Whilst Diamonds have a hardness of 10/10 on the Moh’s Scale of hardness – second to none. We love diamonds for their exceptional brilliance and ability to reflect light. This is the reason why they are so sparkly!
